Who Qualifies

Institutional asset owners

Invitations go to pension funds and endowments actively allocating to US equity strategies. Sovereign wealth funds and family offices with a similar mandate also qualify for an invitation.

A minimum scale

Allocators generally need a meaningful scale of assets under management to qualify for an invitation, though One New York reviews smaller family offices case by case.

Mandate fit

An allocator's current or planned mandate should include US equities managed with an active stewardship or engagement approach.

What Allocators Receive

Allocators in a scheduled meeting
Meetings matched to mandate
Before the day, One New York matches each allocator with member firms whose current strategy and stewardship focus fit the allocator's stated mandate.
Briefing materials in advance
Each allocator receives a short profile of every matched firm, covering assets under management and current areas of focus. A summary of that firm's recent stewardship record is included as well.
Direct access to case history
Where confidentiality allows, allocators can review anonymized case summaries from a firm's past engagements ahead of their meeting.

Confidentiality and Conduct

Meetings Framed Around Evaluation

Meetings at the Roundtable are structured around evaluation conversations. Firms and allocators agree in advance to keep specific figures discussed in a meeting confidential.

Standard Confidentiality Terms

All attendees sign a confidentiality agreement before the event covering anything discussed in scheduled meetings.

How To Request an Invitation

  1. Step 1: Submit an inquiry

Share your organization's assets under management and current mandate focus. A short note on prior experience allocating to actively managed US equity strategies is also useful.

  2. Step 2: Review

One New York reviews each inquiry against the criteria above and confirms fit before extending a formal invitation.

  3. Step 3: Confirmation and matching

Confirmed allocators receive a matching questionnaire ahead of the event, used to build the day's meeting schedule.
